Orgonite Ingredients

An introduction to Orgonite

An orgone device, or “orgonite” is a device which converts stagnant orgone energy (DOR) to positive, healthy orgone energy (POR). Orgonite contains a 50-50 ratio of organic and inorganic material. It also contains at least one quartz crystal, and often additional crystals.
Organic material – The most commonly used material, and the material I use in my orgone devices, is polyester resin. It is classified as an organic material because it is composed from petrochemicals. Organic materials attract and hold orgone energy.
Inorganic material – Metal shavings are used, often aluminium or copper as they are widely available. The higher the surface area is, i.e. the smaller the shavings, the more effective the orgonite is. Metals attract, then immediately repel orgone energy.
Because the organic material attracts and holds orgone energy, and the metal repels it, a “scrubbing” action takes place, where the stagnant energy is being rapidly pushed and pulled back and forth, essentially cleaning it.
Crystal – The main crystal used in orgonite is quartz, or any other crystal which has a piezoelectric effect. This means that when the crystal is ut under pressure, it generates a small electric charge. Resin shrinks when it cures, so the quartz is constantly under pressure. It is not known exactly how the piezoelectric effect affects the orgone energy (although there are plenty of theories), but suffice to say, orgonite without quartz in it can in the long run become clogged up with DOR – the crystal is essential for the conversion of DOR to POR, otherwise the orgonite becomes merely an orgone accumulator.
Additional crystals - The orgone energy that orgonite releases is pure POR, positive but neutral. I like to add different crystals to  “flavour” the energy. For example, orgonite containing amethyst and lapis lazuli is good for all matters pertaining to spirituality and personal growth. For attracting love, I would use rhodocrosite and rose quartz to make an orgonite love pendant.

Use Orgonite to Help Your Plants Grow!

Use Orgonite to Help Your Plants Grow! One effect that is widely reported among people who use orgonite is that it helps their plants grow faster.  I have experienced this myself.  I don’t have much of a green thumb, and have accidentally killed many plants over the years. I have one hanging plant which, when I bought it, was lush and beautiful. A few months later, only one lonely, forlorn stem was left.  I tried to nurse it back to health, to no avail. But since putting a piece of orgonite in the pot, it has started growing again, and the new branches are strong and healthy. I also have a window pot, in which I had to keep re-planting plants as they kept dying.  These days  the plants are healthier than ever! The dramatic effect that orgonite can have on plants is demonstrated by an experiment carried out by  Orgone Art .  Two identical garden beds were sowed with the same weight of butternut seeds. The plants were not given any fertil...

About Orgonite

About Orgonite Orgonite is based on Dr Wilhelm Reich’s research on orgone – a term he coined for  universal life-force energy .  While conducting his research, Dr. Reich found that organic materials attract and hold orgone energy, while non-organic metals simultaneously attract  and repel the energy. Orgonite is based on these two principles. It is a 50-50 mix of resin (organic, due to the fact that it is based on petrochemicals), and metal shavings (inorganic).  A quartz crystal is also added to the orgonite mix.  This is because of its piezoelectric properties, which means that it gives off a charge when it is put under pressure (resin shrinks when it is cured, so constant pressure is put on the quartz crystal). So what does this all mean?  Well, due to the fact that the elements contained in orgonite are constantly attracting and repelling energy, a “scrubbing” action takes place, and along with the charge that the crystal gives off, this ...
